General: Travel by rail; the nearest station is Atherton, on the Rochdale-Southport line. Trains run every 30 minutes, taking approximately 24 minutes from Manchester Victoria. The 582 bus service (every 6 minutes) runs from opposite the station and passes Hilton Park on it's way to Leigh Bus Station. The nearest West Coast Main Line station is Wigan North Western, which is served by the 600 and 658 bus services that run to Leigh Bus Station.
